We'll have a better idea after this game.

That defense looks like it has quit on someone. Carolina WR were wide open last week. We'll see what happens tonight.

What makes you say that, the fact they've averaged 61.5 yards in the six games DeMarco Murray has been out? This tells you all you need to know about the state of the Cowboys ground game. Murray has been out for six-and-a-half games, and he only needs six yards tonight to regain the team lead.

I think that will happen. If Murray is 80-90 percent, then I think 80-90 rushing yards is almost a given against Eagles defense.

Good to see Tim make time in his busy schedule to join us. Let's give him a round of applause.

I'm always present for the big events. This is big, right?

Must be if you're here.

NBC thought it was.

Austin is active tonight and should resume his normal role. That doesn't mean you won't see Beasley in the slot on occasion. He's done a nice job in his limited opportunities.

If they lost to the Eagles, I suspect that would lead to losing the rest of the way. This is the most winnable game the team has left. So, yes, if this team checks in at 5-11 or 6-10, Jerry will at least have to reconsider plans to go forward with Garrett and this staff.
by Tim Cowlishaw 12/3/2012 1:13:07 AM
Depends on how they lose and what happens from this point on. If the Cowboys aren't competitive in this game or the rest of the way I believe that would put Garrett's job in jeopardy. But as bad as this team has played this season, we haven't seen it check out. It continues to play hard. It just doesn't play well.

I think that Jerry Jones will wait to see how this whole thing plays out before pushing the big button.
