Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent is still on the team’s roster and consequently he is listed as one of the team’s seven inactive players for Dallas’ game against Cincinnati on Sunday.
Brent was arrested for intoxication manslaughter and was in an Irving jail after the car he was driving early Saturday morning crashed, killing practice squad linebacker Jerry Brown.
Sean Lissemore is expected to start in Brent’s place because Jay Ratliff is out with a groin injury.
Along with Brent, safety Charlie Peprah, linebacker Kyle Wilber, guard David Arkin, and offensive tackle Darion Weems. Peprah (foot) and Ratliff were ruled out Friday.
The group of Bengals players who won’t play Sunday includes kicker Mike Nugent, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, halfback Cedric Peerman, safety George Iloka, defensive tackle Devon Still, defensive tackle Brandon Thompson, and tight end Richard Quinn.by SportsDayDFW 12/9/2012 5:30:39 PM -

I think this game may be a bit different. Bengals more prone to run than Eagles were -- although Bryce Brown didn't exactly struggle to get through the line. The defense has had issues. But I'd argue the bigger problem is the offense's consistent inability to build an early lead. This team has to play from behind too often.
