I will boycott the NHL the same as I have boycotted baseball since their strike. The millionaires and billionaires have nothing but disdain for the fans. They have hurt thousands of "little guys" who work the concessions, clean the arenas, operate restaurants and bars near the arenas, and run the parking lots.

The fans shouldn't let the owners and players forget about this foolish lockout for a looong time.

Only if the NHL sent me free tickets to a playoff game.

As angry as I am at both sides, I have to admit I miss the hockey. Can't say if it will be the same, right away that is, but I'm pretty sure I'll be tuning in.

No fan in any sport is taken for granted as much as Canadian hockey fans. They are counting on us to blindly fall into line. Not me.

I will, maybe, watch playoffs. Owners are the ones who give big contracts, then complain that business doesn't work. Shame on them. And especially shame on Murray Edwards, the hard-nosed cretin in the group.

Greed and violence of the Neanderthal
by GlobalPilgrim12/28/2012 6:49:23 PM
Nope wont watch anything but a full season. Let the owners feel what it is like not to have buckets of cash coming in! Maybe their greed will slowly disentgrate!

There was a time when I cared about the NHL season coming back... that time has long since passed...

That the league has forgotten about the little guy, the people that actually make the season happen, the vendors and the cleaners and the attendants, is a huge mistake. While they fight over billions, others lose their houses. Take the difference of what they are fighting over and donate it to the workers and the stadiums. Shame on the NHL for not being able to reach an agreement by now. Selfish and greedy. Both sides. The fans and now ex fans will not forget, like they have been forgotten. .

No. OHL gets my fan dollars now and it's far more entertaining. Don't wear my Leafs fan gear anymore and don't plan to buy anymore any time soon. League will still be broken when this is all over.

Hell NO!
by one_eyedman@hotmail.com12/28/2012 6:55:02 PM
No. I will never watch again unless one of my local teams gets to the final or something demands civic duty. I will certainly never buy tickets again. It only encourages them and their sense that they are the game.

How can people tolerate an argument amongst men who get paid many millions for a part time job.
by woodal112/28/2012 6:59:38 PM
Nope - this fan has moved on to the QMJHL, OHL and so on. The Memorial Cup is my new Stanley.
