Greetings. Evan Grant is off touring hamburger establishments in the area, so you must settle for me and my misfiring keyboard.

The tentative plan calls for Kinsler to move to first, with Profar taking over at second. Before it is all over, I would not be surprised to see the Rangers re-visit that plan and re-consider trading a shortstop.

Bourne, a Boras guy, wants $100 million over five. That's a lot for a guy who strikes out 155-plus times and lacks power. LaRoche under consideration, but club may want to give Moreland a full shot. La Roche would block Moreland's progress.

Was just able to confirm that. The Rangers have the long term in mind with Ross. He could replace Cruz, a free agent after this season. Ross is a good player but may be best when used around 130 games.

Kinsler has zero value at this time. Just starting the new contract.

In its current form, this team is a contender but down about two notches from the last three seasons. Not good enough to get to a WS. Bullpen really needs help.

A.J. is a strong possibility, but he will try to string it out in search of a better team. Edwin Jackson is close to Anibal Sanchez the last few years but wants four years. see him with the Cubs. Swisher probably headed to Seattle, which will drastically overpay to get a bat.

At least one more starting pitcher, several arms for the bullpen and a catcher.

Angels have two set starters: Weaver and Wilson. Blanton is a .500 pitcher, a best. Angels picked up Hanson from Atlanta. The Braves know pitching and do not give up a young starter unless something is wrong with him. Hanson's velocity showed a significant drop this year.

This is a solid organization. Jon Daniels will not make rash moves in the wake of losing Hamilton. That would be a recipe for disaster.
