Here we go. Let's try to mix in some Heisman, Hall of Fame voting, a little NBA and baseball talk and anything else you might have to go with Eagles-Cowboys playing a meaningless game.

Never noticed it, obviously he uses his speed as his best weapon. I think bigger concern is teams have had some success running at him.

Thanks for the queston, but I don't know how you reach the conclusion that it's all about Manti. He has the interceptions and, yes, he's a Mormon playing with Catholics. Not sure how that gets him the award. Lot of folks this Georgia LB is better. Regardless, I'll just say I'm leaning strongly in the direction of the freshman QB from Texas A&M who is almost a lock to win the award. Deservedly so. Wish he had better stats against LSU and Florida but I don't think that is enough to derail him from the award.

Is he quick, mobile enough to move to guard? Just because someone can't play tackle, it's not automatic that they can play guard. He's also on the books for a lot of money. Worth keeping for that?

I don't think the sound of his press conferences has any meaning. Bill Belichick's sound like he might be conducting them underwater. It has no relevance. What does matter is Garrett's attention to detail in games, his team's weekly terrible starts, the continued difference between yards gained and points scored. I don't think he's losing the players necessarily but he's failing to demonstrate that keeping him around is going to make this team better.

I don't make any predictions about a draft four months away. Now or ever. How would anyone know?

No. When are people going to realize this isn't going to happen? How many different ways does Jerry have to say it and we have to write it? Jerry's the GM. If you don't like it, stop showing up 90,000 strong for bad games.

Let me correct myself. They aren't bad games. The Cowboys play highly entertaining games at times. They just involved bad teams (at least one).

Maybe a little but I don't know that he does anything more than play the slot and run five-yard crossing routes. Really don't think he's set to replace Miles Austin or anything.

I think the only big change would involve hiring GM (won't happen), deciding Romo isn't the answer (won't happen) or getting rid of the head coach (probably won't happen). I think as long as the team gets to 7-9, Garrett is still around for another run next year. That means same head coach, same offensive and defensive coordinators, same GM, same system. So that's not major change. Can't imagine that anyone would regard changing special teams coaches counts as major.
