Very sorry, but Tim joins us at 3 p.m. instead of 2 p.m. today. Slight change in plans. It's an exciting, unpredictable world, isn't it? Please join us then or offer your questions now and stick around.

That is a wild, wild set of plans. First of all, no, you couldn't get that for Romo. Beyond that, why do you want to bring in Vick? As unpredictable as Romo, more turnover-prone, more injury-prone...but we are talking Cowboys so at least you're on the right track by thinking WAY outside the box.

That would be surprising, not so much because Kiffin is older than Jerry Jones but because I don't know that just coming in here and running the Tampa 2 defense is going to represent the change the Cowboys need.

I have to go with Profar. I don't assume Elvis is automatically headed to New York in two years to replace Jeter but I think Scott Boras will certainly play up that possibility to make it very expensive for someone to get Andrus.

Haha, good question. I think the answer has to be yes although it's hard to believe that Nowitzki will be going into his 16th NBA season next year. There's not a lot of wear and tear on his body compared to most, but he is coming back very slowly from this knee injury, still isn't a big factor in games, so we'll have to see what kind of hopes there are for him moving forward. They certainly aren't going to make it this year. Closing in on New Orleans for the last spot in the Western Conference will be more likely than closing in on Portland for the 8th seed.

Is that unusual? Other than the teams with Griffin or Cam Newton or a couple others, aren't most teams throwing 90 percent of the time out of the shotgun? I'm not sure why people claim the Cowboys need to run more when you look at their yards per carry figures and you look at Dez Bryant's and Jason Witten's production this year.

I think there will have to be some change made. I don't think moving forward with the same offensive plays --- or the same offensive play-caller -- is going to happen. But I'm not sure they will line up the

first week of September and fans will say, "Wow, that looks different." They're not going to the Oregon offense and they aren't running the Wishbone. Sorry for the breakup in answer there.

I think Jones plans to change play-callers. I don't think he can create significant change by bringing in a new defensive coordinator and leaving it at that. I'm not sure which direction he would go, I would expect a young coach, possibly even a college coordinator if he is truly looking for new ideas. And, no, before anyone asks this week, it won't be Norv Turner. Not a good mix. Not a good idea.

I am not sure what the conspiracy would be. Why would Shanahan want RG III to get hurt? It was a terrible decision to leave him in for as long as he did, but I understand him wrestling with the decision because the Redskins were winning the game and because RG III was limping pretty significantly when they played Dallas the week before.
